Summary
Matt Haber is an art director, character designer, visual development artist, storyboard artist and gallery painter. His animation career began shortly after high school when he was hired as an in-betweener at Walt Disney Feature Animation where he worked on ‘Hercules, Tarzan, Mulan, Atlantis and Fantasia 2000’. He then attended Rhode Island School of Design focusing on painting. Afterwards he spent 2 years revising storyboards at Fox Animation on ‘American Dad’ and in 2006 Matt moved to NY to focus on gallery painting and became a lead painter at Takashi Murakami's Kai Kai Kiki Studios. From 2013-2018 Matt worked as art director and character designer on Disney Junior’s ‘Goldie & Bear’ where he oversaw the 2d designs and their translation into 3D. Matt has worked on numerous other TV productions, commercials and developed many TV pilots including “Magic School Bus” and “Puppy Dog Pals.” Matt currently lives in Los Angeles with his wife and young daughter and still listens to a lot of punk rock.
